First Grade Gardeners

Mrs. Beers and Mrs. Cormie took their classes out to the garden. They made observations and weeded their garden beds. They found some green tomatoes and filled our garden compost bin!

Weeding The Garden

Mrs. Seldon's kindergarteners were using trowels, spades and gloves to weed their garden bed with the help of Mrs. Houde, Ryan's mom.

Kindergarten Weeds the Garden

Ms. Corbett and Ms. Bourgeois took their kindergarten class outside to weed their garden bed. They had a lot of fun, worked hard and discovered a garter snake as well!

Second Graders in the Garden

Mr. Smaldone and Mrs. Quinn took their second graders to the garden to weed and clean out their bed. They harvested some green beans. They put their weeds in the garden compost bin and spotted a grasshopper, too!

Sunflowers!

The large sunflowers in our garden are finished blooming and kids were collecting the seeds with Mrs. Johnson.

Fall in the Garden

Our compost bins are labeled, tomatoes, squash and flowers continue to grow, and some classrooms have begun to clean out their beds. Fall is here!
